The Fox & Willow

Been to fox & the Willow a few times. Most recent visit was for breakfast. Sister enjoyed her pancakes very much, I found my roll and coffee deal a good offer but roll a bit too hard and dry for me. It was also not clearly stated that if you want the breakfast roll and coffee order you need to specify as our waitress put the roll, pancakes and coffees through separately. However once we had the bill and I found someone at the bar to lay they were more than happy to sort it out. Service sadly however lacked again. That's twice I have been and service is severely lacking. Both times in the conservatory area with the few of beer garden. I have eaten in the restaurant and had no issues and also recently in the domes and no issues but sadly in this conservatory area we seem to be forgotten. That's both times I have had to go fund someone despite the staff looking in as they enter what I assume is the kitchen. I do keep returning as the food is great and as a vegetarian I think the option is fantastic compared to other local restaurants. The services just puts me off and so my visits are more scarce. I would also recommend having a quick glance of the drinks menu before arrival. No sooner does your butt touch the seat you are asked for a drinks order before looking at the menu . Perhaps this is a personal preference.

Would definitely recommend The Fox & Willow for your next dinner night out. Food and drink was fantastic. Great portion sizes and tasted amazing. Would definitely recommend booking a pod to eat your meal. They are a great size, allow dogs in, have a heater and music, and what's great is that the deposit you pay (£10 per person) gets taken off your final bill. Even though you are outisde the restaurant you are still well taken care of by the staff.

I had a fabulous meal here and the staff were super helpful and thoughtful in helping me surprise my daughter for lunch. They made my first meeting with my daughter's fiancé and my 4 month old granddaughter a day to remember. Cannot fault anything - the food was superb, the staff brilliant. I will definitely be back.
