Tempura Ayr

Really enjoyed the food here. They also had a good selection of beers on tap. Staff were incredibly friendly and service was good.

edit: If you want chicken tempura you're better off going to the Carlton Hotel in preswick as it's just much better quality. Unsure what the vegetable tempura is like there but I'm certain it can't get much worse than this place lol. Your response to my partner's review is unsatisfactory and condescending. I left what I had thought to be a helpful review for anyone wondering what it may be like to dine here if they don't eat meat. Yes, OBVIOUSLY vegetable tempura is vegetarian 🤦🏻‍♂️ That doesn't change the fact that no where on the menu does it state that other dishes could be made vegetarian, and your server was pushy and rude when we needed more time to order (because we had only just found out what could be eaten by my partner). The vegetable choices for the tempura didn't work well in the dish. The broccoli was inedible, as agreed by our whole table. My chicken tempura bao buns were nice enough, but overall was a pretty crappy experience. Paid more than £20 for a bottle of wine that you can get in tesco for a fiver. I wholeheartedly regret trying a new restaurant, and will just continue to eat at @home Thai since they are the only restaurant in town that hasn't disappointed me so far.
